To retain and enhace golf's core values
Golf Course Program

The idea is to define what a Keepers' golf course or club would be like, find them and provide recognition to them and promote other courses and clubs to join the effort. Below are the currently proposed criteria.

1. Have a plan in place to improve speed of play and other problems, measure results, share with us and others.
2. Encourage walking if possible
3. Tee times at least ten minutes apart
4. Actively teach and encourage etiquette (if providing something like ball repair tool, estimate of effectiveness on ball mark repairing
5. Three levels, one, two, and three rounds equivalent bronze silver and gold (First 100 are Charter Members)
6. Have at least one family event per season
7. Encourage kids and family play
8. Have formal or informal caddie program
9. Have a beginners program of some kind
10. Have "customer service" personnel to ensure flow, good behavior, "rain check" for slow groups, etc.
11. Provide special rate for Keepers of the Game members who also provide filled out "For the good of the game" surveys
